Reproduction of dogs - mating

A lecture on mating in dogs about this important aspect of breeding. The aim of the lecture is to learn about the physiological aspects of mating from both the male and female perspective to ensure a successful mating and a healthy litter of puppies. You will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the male dog's reproductive system, the physiological process of mating, determining the most appropriate time for mating, libido and how to influence it, and how to improve fertility in dogs. The lecture is intended for all breeders and dog lovers who want to deepen their knowledge. The lecture is supplemented with illustrative videos, e.g. from the mating process.

A lecture on giving birth to dogs about the expected and joyful aspect of breeding. The aim of the lecture is to learn about how to prepare for labour, to know when labour starts, to know all the stages of labour, when to call for help and how to solve the problem. The lecture is intended for all breeders and dog lovers who want to deepen their knowledge. The lecture is supplemented with illustrative videos, e.g. from the birth.

How to handle trouble - first aid

There are times in life when the calm of everyday life can turn into a horror. Many of these situations can be avoided with a dog. Even so, disasters can still befall us. It's good to know about them and know how to behave in them. The lecture How to handle trouble - first aid quickly and efficiently will introduce you to what first aid is, what should not be missing in the first aid kit, what critical conditions we can encounter and what to do in them, and how to deal with injuries acquired in the home and beyond.

Nutrition for the sporting dog

A lecture on how best to feed your dog when exercising or working. We will look at the distribution of sport in relation to energy needs. In the movement physiology section, you will learn about the energy requirements for movement in relation to muscle metabolism. In the section on nutrition for the sporting dog, we will focus on optimal body condition, performance support and how to prevent fatigue and damage. Finally, we'll talk about foods and nutritional supplements for sporting dogs.

 

Fitness for dogs

There are two lectures on the topic of dog fitness. The first deals with the topics of musculoskeletal system, manifestations of musculoskeletal diseases or injuries and first aid for lameness. You will also learn what the differences are between rehabilitation, physiotherapy and fitness. Also included are insights into how physiological processes in different age groups of dogs (puppy, geriatric dog) affect dog exercise. In the second lecture, a fitness scenario is proposed with all its components (mobility - flexibility, balance, strength, stability - coordination, endurance and speed). With the suggestion of specific exercises to train each component of fitness.

Warm up and cool down

The Warm-up and Cool-down lecture is about how to prepare your dog for better performance and how to prevent injuries that can occur during performance or work. You will learn the most important facts about the dog's musculoskeletal system and movement, the actual warm-up before performance and recovery after performance. Why to perform them before each performance or work of the dog. The lecture can be combined with practical training of warm-up and regeneration.
